CNC Setter / Operator / Programmer Required!
BE Recruitment are recruiting a CNC setter / operator on a permanent basis for an engineering client. They’re located in Whetstone, LE8, manufacturing lenses.
Hurco – 3 Axis Machine – Milling / Turning.
Shifts:
Monday – Friday
06:00 – 14:00 & 14:00 – 22:00 (Rotational)
Pay:
£30,000 + 20% Shift Allowance

Specific Responsibilities
- Set, Fault Find & Operate machines.
- To use gauges and measuring equipment to ensure product meets required specifications.
- Self-certification of personal work.
- To prove out downloaded programs so they are in line with the correct timings in accordance with our manufacturing and quality standards and then to upload the proven program.
- Keep all computer files and manual paperwork accurate and up to date at all times.
- Responsible for producing SPC charts and records.
- Ensure housekeeping is maintained to the highest standards.
- Ensure all quality procedures are adhered to, taking an active part in root cause analysis.
Experience & Background
- Experience of working within a busy Manufacturing environment.
- Experience setting CNC Machines preferably Hurco.
