BE Recruitment are working with a client manufacturing tape, based in Leicester, LE4, and they are looking to recruit Technical Machine Operators (Experienced Machine Operators) to join their existing team.

Rotational shifts: (Days & Nights)

• Week 1:
• Monday – Wednesday: 06:00 – 18:00
• Thursday: 06:00 – 14:00
• Week 2:
• Monday – Wednesday: 18:00 – 06:00

Pay rate: £13 P/H (£27,040 P/A)

Key Responsibilities:

• Fully understand and be proficient in at least two complete coating/mixing processes.
• Assist in setting and consistently achieving individual and team production output targets.
• Have a thorough understanding of quality standards and contribute to waste minimisation efforts.
• Identify processing and quality issues, propose corrective actions, and participate in their implementation.
• Complete all required departmental data recording on time and train others to do so.
• Play an active role in developing the Cell Team.
• Deputising for Team Leader
• Act as a deputy for the RPO Team Leader when required.

Performance Measurements:

• Individual and team output vs. targets
• Product quality and yield achievement vs. targets
• Repeat customer complaints attributed to individuals vs. targets
• On-time completion of total productive maintenance.
• Stock accuracy
• Attendance and timekeeping
• Health and safety performance (zero accidents, near miss reports)
• Achievement of SMART objectives linked to business growth plan
• Completion of output and material usage recording to required standards

• Experience in team-based production processes
• Ability to train others
• Proficiency in understanding and recording data
• Excellent communication and self-organisation skills
• Ability to identify and communicate risks and propose corrective actions

Press Break Setter Required!

Wigston – (LE18)

BE Recruitment are currently recruiting for an engineering company based in Wigston, LE18, who work with sheet-metal, creating point of sale, display racks, electronic products & more.

Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 08:00- 16:30

Pay:

• £12 – £14.50 P/H (Dependant on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Amada Promecam Brake Press efficiently and safely.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to accurately produce parts.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality output.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
• Production folding in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Brake Press Setter, preferably with Amada Promecam machinery.
• Ability to read technical drawings and work autonomously.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

CNC Setter / Operator Required!

BE Recruitment are recruiting a CNC setter / operator on a permanent basis for an engineering client. They’re located in LE19, working in the aerospace industry.

Shift:

Monday – Friday | 06:00 – 14:00 (Morning Shift)

Pay:

£13.58 P/H (£26,481 PA)

• Pay Rising by 0.5% in July 2024

Specific Responsibilities

• Set, Fault Find & Operate machines to produce fasteners to strict tolerances.
• In process deburring and Self Inspection
• To use gauges and measuring equipment to ensure product meets required specifications.
• Self-certification of personal work.
• To prove out downloaded programs so they are in line with the correct timings in accordance with our manufacturing and quality standards and then to upload the proven program.
• Keep all computer files and manual paperwork accurate and up to date at all times.
• Responsible for producing SPC charts and records.
• Ensure housekeeping is maintained to the highest standards.
• Ensure all quality procedures are adhered to, taking an active part in root cause analysis.
