Location: Birmingham
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.00am – 5.00pm and 8.00am -4.30pm on Fridays / 40hrs
Pay Rate: £9.50 per hour
Immediate start available

Our client based in Birmingham, require Machine Operators to work on tiles cutting machines, ensuring smooth operation. Training provided.

Training IS provided but experience as a Machine Operator, or within an engineering environment is desirable.

This is a permanent role with progression opportunities.

The Role:

• Operating cutting machines
• Accurately cut ceramic, stone, porcelain tiles
• Complete acceptable standard of cutting and ensure minimal waste is produced
• Safely, efficient, and accurately operate cutting equipment – training provided
• Weekly maintenance of all machines
• Ideally you will have experience in a similar engineering / machine operating role
• Ensure the specific Health and Safety standards are maintained
• Carry out further tasks as may from time to time be delegated to you by Manager

The Candidate:

• Mechanically minded
• Experience in a similar engineering environment desirable
• Ideally looking for a permanent position
• Excellent verbal and written English
