Driving Recruitment Consultant

To support the growth of the business development, this role focuses heavily on effective resourcing and developing and nurturing driver relationships and building a driver candidate database. Resourcing drivers to meet the client’s criteria, through advertising, recruiting and placing candidates into job roles. To use social media and broadbean to advertise vacancies, to search for candidates using job boards, the database and networking candidates to attract, retain and build strong working relationships. This will include planning, coordinating, and implementing recruitment projects within budget, timeline, and scope. To build a rapport and develop relationships with the pool of drivers, to understand their needs and limitations and be able to manipulate that pool to maximise revenue. To proactively develop the business levels with current and new clients, speculatively introducing new drivers to your designated client base; cold calling to consultatively sell the services to new businesses. To seek opportunities to cross sell the services of BE Recruitment. To be innovative with any problems presented, to manage conflict and seek mutual resolutions between client and driver. To independently sell the services either face to face, over the telephone or digital marketing. To run 50 plus drivers across 15 clients as a minimum requirement single handedly and significantly higher numbers as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • To manage and retain a candidate database of 10% of amount of drivers on the plan ie 50 drivers on plan – establish 5 additional drivers
  • Keeping accurate records and working in accordance to Employment Legislation and best practice
  • Have a clear understanding of HGV licence requirements and infringements, WTD and CPC knowledge
  • To be able to produce and the delivery KPIs to customers
  • To resource, advertise, screen to a pre select criteria as agreed with the customer,
  • Interview and place drivers into vacancies following due diligence at all times
  • Proactive customer service with high levels of communication to all parties.
  • Update relevant manager’s or team members on the project’s progress
  • To grow the market share of business from selling the services of recruitment solutions to new and existing clients and maintain strong client relationships to maximise margins.
  • To exceed financial goals in the region of min of £60k net margin (Temps & Perms) annually in New Business Conversions
  • Manage own desk, and keep an upto date plan and use Matchmaker to add drivers, bookings and clients
  • Planning and managing a pool of drivers, keeping upto date availability records of drivers in accordance to WTD
  • Understand and keep up to date with industry and competitive landscape knowledge
  • To competently learn and demonstrate BE systems – Matchmaker, Broadbean and Citation.

On-Site Account Manager

Job Description & Purpose

To support the growth of the business development focus, with highly effective recruitment activity looking after one on-site location based in Coventry as well as temporary workers; resourcing candidates to meet the client’s criteria. This is a key role to provide the highest levels of customer service, to lead the launch of recruitment campaigns required by a diverse client base in either manufacturing, warehouse and distribution and logistics for industrial by leveraging organisational expertise. Responsible to run your own account varying of experience, advertising, screening, recruit and placing candidates into said client, This will include planning, coordinating, and implementing recruitment projects within budget, timeline, and scope. To monitor and report client KPIs against service level agreements. This is a client facing role, being a point of contact, to meet and greet, qualify work and timeframes, keeping all parties informed of developments in a timely manner. To check in candidates into their work assignments within 15 minutes of the shift start time, to source replacements and standbys to minimise any downtime caused by a no show on site. To assist with all customer enquiries, negotiate and manage conflict when necessary. Looking after one on-site client and managing up to 30 temporary workers day to day. Driving Recruitment Consultant

BE Recruitment are currently looking for a Driving Recruitment Consultant to work within our Leicester offices in the city centre.

BE Recruitment specialise in the supply of temporary industrial and driving labour in the midlands region. Due to the growth of opportunities in the area after opening our Leicester branch in the spring of 2021 we are looking to expand our team.

Duties will include registering, interviewing & recruiting candidates such as Van Drivers, Class 1 Drivers and Class 2 Drivers for a variety of clients across the Midlands. As well as speaking with clients on a day to day basis to assess the performance of candidates, take new bookings, organise site visits and deal with any queries.

An ideal candidate will have at least 12 months of recruitment experience in the logistics sector, a full driving licence and a desire to work within a vibrant team.

The hours of work will be 8am-5pm Monday to Friday with 1hr for lunch this will be a 40hr working week. You’ll be required to take the on-call phone on a rotational basis and deal with request and queries outside of working hours.

This is a permanent role with a salary between £20,000 and £25,000 per annum depending on experience as well as great company bonus, monthly fun objectives and bespoke uniform.
