Job Description & Purpose

Well-rounded People Manager to lead and inspire a team, assist and write new process into the business to enable strong focus on sales and service delivery, getting results with and through the team. Candidate attraction and retention methods are the primary focus for this division, to assist in mobilising a workforce to cover all shifts provided. Personal development, performance management (via monthly & quarterly objectives) and staff welfare are key factors to this role for the delivery of divisional budgets to be achieved. To lead by example and develop the team to a high-performing, profit centre for the business; working autonomously to be solution biased to all challenges, the role requires a highly motivated and a well organised individual, with a deep understanding of the sector specialism of their Division. To support the growth of the division from either direct prospecting and developing strong relationships with customers, to candidate engagement and booking filling. To provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth. The ability to meet the challenges head on, in a stressful time sensitive environment is essential.

Responsibilities

  • To assist in expanding our current footprint of driving branches (Tamworth/Leicester) into other areas Managing/building a team of up to 8 consultants at varying levels of experience, to plan and set daily/weekly routine tasks for completion (over a 3 year strategical plan)
  • To manage and oversee service delivery to existing clients with and through the team, managing upto 150 drivers over 40+ clients (over a 3 year strategical plan)
  • To add process and value into interviewing and selecting a workforce to meet the clients requirements
  • To deliver excellent customer service to maximise profits and minimise risk of client dissatisfaction
  • Keeping accurate financial & compliance records and working in accordance to Employment Legislation and best practice, reference checking and licence checks being a priority
  • To grow the market share of business from selling the services of recruitment solutions to new and existing clients and maintain strong client relationships to maximise margins.
  • To achieve divisional budgets annually and personally develop £100k of new business margin per annum
  • To contribute to the performance of others as a mentor and leader to steer and guide work capability through upholding best practice and operating standards

To write and undertake weekly, monthly and quarterly consultant 1-1s , reviews and appraisals

  • Understand and keep up to date with industry and competitive landscape knowledge

To ensure personnel engagement is high and career development is a priority

  • Have a clear understanding of HGV licence requirements and infringements, WTD & CPC knowledge

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years recruitment Managerial experience or 7 years recruitment experience
  • Strong sales and customer service background from within the recruitment sector specialism
  • Strong project and time-management skills with a high aptitude for process
  • Highly motivated and target driven
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to harness financial data, budgets, forecasts and KPI’s to make informed decisions
  • Strong verbal, written, skills
  • Own transport and willing to travel and visit clients face to face
