Class 2 Driver // HGV C // £20.00phr

BE Recruitment are working with a busy transport company based in the Coleshill area who are looking to add high quality Class 2 drivers to their team working on days.

Day to day duties will include:

  • Multi drop of flooring
  • Customer facing role
  • HEAVY WORK – offloading rolls or pallets of flooring
  • Pump truck to assist offloading
  • 6-12 drops

MUST OF HELD A CLASS 2 LICENCE FOR 1 YEAR AND HAVE 12 MONTHS DRIVING EXPERIENCE.

Hours of work:

  • Monday to Fri
  • Early starts – 0600AM
  • 10 hour days

Role Requirements:

  • Drivers CPC Qualification
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • All drivers are required to wear the correct PPE i.e. safety shoes and HI-VIs vest

  • Inspection and Quality Control: Conduct visual inspections to ensure coating quality, monitor machine gauges, and check powder flow and viscosity.
  • Baking and Pre-treatment: Bake parts at appropriate temperatures and apply thermosetting resin coatings and pre-treatments as needed.
  • Efficiency and Standards: Ensure components are produced efficiently, meeting quality standards and on-time performance goals.
  • Safety and Maintenance: Adhere to safety guidelines, clean and maintain equipment, and ensure proper operation and repair of powder coating machinery.
  • Loading and Handling: Load and unload parts onto fixtures and handle products with care throughout the process.
