The Role:

  • Performing the duties of Mechanical Maintenance Technician
  • Improving machinery and robot cells reliability through maintenance activities, modification and good engineering practises.
  • Fault finding and repairs in breakdown situations, using engineering drawings and machine manuals
  • Carrying out routine inspections of all Robot Cells and either repair or report defects to management
  • Providing support and assistance to the production and engineering departments as well as improving the service provided by the maintenance department.

Requirements:

  • Maintaining robot cells and production machinery
  • Fault finding
  • Numeracy and ability to understand numerical data
  • Good understanding of engineering and quality standards
  • Ability to work with a minimum of supervision and on own initiative
  • Ability to follow instructions

We are currently recruiting for experienced Powder Coaters to work with our client based in Leicester – Wigston area.

The hours of work are- Monday to Friday 8.00am -4.30pm

The Job:

  • Completing Powder Coating on metal engineered products
  • Prepare parts for coating
  • Follow all principles and practices of powder coating application
  • Monitoring products through the coating process
  • Operate all coating equipment including guns, hoppers and booth collection systems
  • Determine powder flow, viscosity and coating quality by performing visual inspections.
  • Ensure quality standards and processes are used throughout facility
  • Ensure safety guidelines are being met to assure a safe work environment
  • Completing Manual Handling- due to the nature of the work some heavy lifting will be required

There are immediate starts for the right candidate following a successful assessment at our client site.
