Be Recruitment Swindon are currently recruiting for multiple FLT Counterbalance Drivers to work at a state-of-the-art automotive production facility in Stratton, Swindon (SN3) with NO HEAVY LIFTING involved

These are long term roles with a genuine opportunity to go permanent after a successful trial period!

Benefits of the Counterbalance Forklift Truck driver role:

  • No manual handling or heavy lifting – ALL COUNTER BALANCE WORK

Shifts available for the Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver Role:

  • 06.00 – 16.00 / 16.00 – 02.00 Monday to Friday (Rest day each week or opportunity to work your rest day as extra hours!)
  • Optional overtime available paying between £15.00 – £21.00 per hour!

Duties for this Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to carry out daily duties
  • Using scanners to scan and verify goods when required
  • Stillage work – METAL ON METAL
  • Loading and Unloading curtain sided vehicles
  • Allocating stock to correct areas
  • Bay picking
  • Replenishing stock
  • Collection of pallets
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Hygiene duties

Rates of pay and hours for a Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver:

  • £12.00 per hour
  • Overtime over 40 hrs paid at £15.00
  • Sundays paid at £21.00

FLT Counterbalance driver

BE Recruitment Ltd are working in partnership with a leading manufacturing client, based in Coleshill, Birmingham. And they are recruiting for FLT Counterbalance drivers to join their existing team. Please be aware that this job role involves 50% FLT usage and 50% manual labour.

Duties as a FLT Counterbalance Driver will include:

  • Working within Logistics ( goods in/out)
  • Potential training on PPT/VNA available
  • Driving a FLT Counterbalance (Valid Licence Required)
  • Checking quality of vechile parts
  • Helping when & where required within the Factory

YOU MUST HOLD A VALID FLT COUNTERBALANCE LICENCE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS JOB ROLE.

Days/Hours & Pay Rate:

  • Monday – Thursday – 22:00-06:00/Friday 17:00-22:30
  • £11.49 per hour with £15.80 shift allowance per day.

Permanent vacancies are available for the right candidates.

You will also receive up to 28 days paid holiday, maternity pay, paternity pay, sick pay and a contributory pension after a qualifying period.
