Class 1 Shunter (£20 Per Hour)

Class 1 Shunter

BE Recruitment are working with an leading distribution company which are looking to recruit 2 x Class 1 Shunters.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is looking for a stable Saturday and Sunday position. There will be minimal hand ball with the majority of the work being loaded and unloaded trailers to be moved around site. It would be favourable to have experience with both tug and HGV’s.

Hours of work:

  • Saturday and Sunday
  • 0600-1430

Requirements:

  • CE Licence- Held for at least 2 year
  • Must have previous shunter experience
  • Must be able to pass a practical assessment
  • Valid CPC
  • Maximum 6 points
  • No DD, DR, TT, IN10 codes on licence

Job Package:

  • On going contract
  • Min 8 hours per shift
  • Saturday and Sunday
  • £20 per hour PAYE including Holiday
  • Overtime hours may be available
  • Great canteen and break out facilities.

BE Recruitment are currently working with a travel and logistics company in Swadlincote (DE12) area, who are looking for a warehouse operative to join their team. (Night shift).

Day to day include:

  • Produce transit documents for export trailers
  • Allocate bay numbers for trailer to be loaded
  • Check quality of handling lists to ensure the cargo is correctly declared on export documents
  • Liaise with the gatehouse to allow drivers to enter/exit the yard
  • Support the day shift with paperwork archiving etc…

Working shifts and pay:

  • Monday to Friday | 20:00-04:00 (Night Shift)
  • Pay £12.50 per hour paid weekly.
