BE Recruitment are currently recruiting Machine Operative for our client in the Kettering area of Northamptonshire on a guaranteed temp to perm basis.

Our client have recently picked up additional work with several of there aerospace manufacturing customers and require Machine operative on 1400-22.30pm Monday to Thursday and 1400-20.00pm Friday overtime is available (paid at x 1.5) and all workers can expect to be taken on permanently after a 13 week qualifying period.

PAY:

£10.40 ph depending on experience.

DUTIES:

Duties for these roles include the manipulation, cutting & sewing of leather hide the hide might be sown in different ways dependent upon the part. The machines are straight forward to use but will involve some previous sewing machine experience, but training will be provided.

Work is clean and light and set in a nice working environment which has all the latest facilities available to workers.

Our client have recently picked up additional work with several of there automotive manufacturing customers and require Production Operatives to work on there leather cutting line this will be done via hand and also assisted by basic machine operation candidates will work on 7.30am-4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am-1.30pm Friday overtime is available (and paid at x 1.5) and all workers can expect to be taken on permanently after a 13 week qualifying period.

PAY:

£9.40 to £10.65 per hour dependent upon experience

DUTIES:

Duties for these roles include the manipulation and cutting of leather hide and foam this can be done by using hand or various machines which cut the materials in different ways. The role is straight forward the hand cutting is using various hand tools and the machine work is feeding and button pressing. This is done to cut leather to size before car parts are wrapped.

Work is clean and light and set in a nice working environment which has all the latest facilities available to workers. Suitable candidates will preferable have experience doing this role within a similar environment in the automotive industry.
