Class 1 Driver

BE Recruitment are working with a National Distribution company, based in Middlewich, and they are looking for Class 1 drivers to join their existing team.

Day to day duties will include:

  • Store deliveries
  • Operating tail lift & pump truck
  • Multidrop (2-6 a shift)

Hours of work/Pay rate/Additional Benefits:

Start times are between 04:00AM & 08:00AM.

Monday to Friday – £16.00 Per hour

Saturday & Sunday – £17.00 Per hour

Overtime (over 45 hours) – £24.00 Per hour

There is plenty of overtime available.

Temp to Perm opportunities are available

MUST HAVE 6 MONTHS DRIVING EXPERIENCE

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is looking for a stable position. There will be minimal hand ball with the majority of the work being loaded and unloaded trailers to be moved around site. It would be favourable to have experience with both tug and HGV’s.

2 Positions Available;

1X Weekend Night Shunter – £20.00 per hour

1X Monday – Friday Day/Afternoon Shunter – £17.30 per hour

Hours of work:

  • Monday to Friday – 14:30-23:00
  • Saturday & Sunday – 18:00PM – 06:00AM

Requirements:

  • CE Licence- Held for at least 2 year
  • Must have previous shunter experience
  • Must be able to pass a practical assessment
  • Valid CPC
  • Maximum 6 points
  • No DD, DR, TT, IN10 codes on licence

Job Package:

  • Min 8 hours per shift
