Continuous Improvement Engineer Needed!
BE Recruitment are currently working with a leading automotive company in CV6 area, who are looking for an experienced Continuous Improvement Engineer to join their team. This is a permanent role from day 1 and is not agency work.(The role is based in Coventry, but will require to support their Kettering site as well).
Day to day may include:
- Be in charge of Continuous Improvement activities for the Plant, identify, plan and implement
- Be in charge of processes & work flows
- First point of contact for Plant stakeholders for process improvements
- Capacity Analysis & time trials for improvements
- Ensure all improvements comply with relevant regulations & standards
- Liaise and lead suppliers & customers
- Liaison with the manufacturing engineering team, coaching apprentices and graduates.
Working shifts and pay:
- Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm
- Friday 8am – 2pm
- £42k + (Dependant on experience)
Requirements & Experience:
- A proven track record of delivering results against projects and improvement programmes in manufacturing environments
- Experience in the application of continuous improvement tools
- Understanding of lean methodology
- Six Sigma is desirable (green Belt)
- Ability to communicate at all levels; influencing and presentation skills
- Excellent understanding of manufacturing processes and techniques
