BE Recruitment Swindon are currently recruiting for a Forklift Truck Observor to work at automotive production facility in Stratton, Swindon.
This is a unique role which involves watching the operation daily on the morning shift, ensuring that the operatives are acting in accordance with site rules as they go about their daily duties and responsibilities.
From this,you will then feedback your findings from the observations of each day and week to the relevent department heads, shift leaders or senior management team. This includes any best practice and anything that is identified as inefficient.
Benefits of the role:
- Hourly rate of £12.00 per hour initially
- Overtime paying up to £21.00 per hour
- Monday to Friday with additional overtime optional
- Fixed day shift working Monday to Friday 06.00am – 14.00pm

Shifts available:
- 06.00 – 14.00 Monday to Friday (FIXED SHIFT)
- Optional overtime available
Duties for this FLT Counterbalance Driver role will include, but are not limited to:
- Observing and taking notes on FLT operators on the site whilst carrying out their daily duties
- Reporting the findings back to the relevant department heads
- Offering insight and advice when needed
- Sharing best practice
- Reporting on trends and in-efficiencies that are observed daily on site
- Reporting on Health and Safety and feedback back to senior management
Rates of pay and hours for a FLT Counterbalance Driver:
- £12.00 per hour
- £15.00 per hour for any overtime over 40 hours
- £21.00 per hour for work carried out on Sunday
