BE Recruitment are currently recruiting for an engineering company based in Thurmaston, LE4, who work with sheet-metal.
Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:00
- Friday: 06:00 – 14:30
Pay:
- £13 – £16 P/H (Dependant on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Perform welding tasks as part of a collaborative team.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to execute precise welding specifications.
- Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines and production schedules.
- Weld various metals, with a focus on materials up to 5mm thickness.
- Adhere to safety standards and protocols.
Requirements:
- Proficient in MIG Welding (TIG Also Useful)
- Proven experience as a production welder & spot welding.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Competence in welding metals up to 5mm thickness.
- Knowledge of safety standards and practices in welding.
