BE Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for experienced order pickers to join our national distribution client, based in Tamworth. (Tamworth B78)
****Due to the location and shift start time you will need to live in the local area or have transport and willing to travel with no issues. Please do not apply if you do not meet this specific criteria.****
Day to day duties will include:
Order picking goods using Voice Order Picking System
Checking orders
General warehouse duties
Working in a chilled environment of 4 degrees temperature
Hours of work:
You will have the choice of working either 09.00 to 18.00, 1800 – 0200 or 22.00 to 06.00
You will have the choice of working full time hours. Any 5 of 7 days is a must. You MUST be flexible!!!
Pay rate/Additional benefits:
PRE AWR
£10.03 per hour and 16.29 per hour for the first 12 weeks, dependant on the days/hours you work
POST AWR:
You will be paid between 10.03 per hour and 20.63 per hour after 12 weeks, dependant on the days/hours you work
Note: There is plenty of overtime available and these assignments offer a permanent role after a successful trial period
You will also receive up to 28 days paid holiday, sick pay, maternity pay, paternity pay and a contributory pension after a qualifying period
There is a subsidised canteen on site and there is plenty of free on site car parking
Role requirements:
No previous experience is required as full training will be provided. Please be fully advise this is working in the cold. If you have issues in doing so then please do not apply at this time.
