Powder Coater Required!

BE Recruitment are recruiting a powder coater for a sheet metal engineering company based in East Goscote, Leicester (LE7).

Working Hours:

• Monday – Thursday: 06:00 – 16:30
• Overtime Available @ 1.5x Pay.

Pay: £12 – £15 per hour.

Temp to Perm!

Responsibilities:

• Preparation and Application: Prepare parts for coating, operate coating equipment (guns, hoppers, booths), and follow best practices for powder coating application.
• Inspection and Quality Control: Conduct visual inspections to ensure coating quality, monitor machine gauges, and check powder flow and viscosity.
• Baking and Pre-treatment: Bake parts at appropriate temperatures and apply thermosetting resin coatings and pre-treatments as needed.
• Efficiency and Standards: Ensure components are produced efficiently, meeting quality standards and on-time performance goals.
• Safety and Maintenance: Adhere to safety guidelines, clean and maintain equipment, and ensure proper operation and repair of powder coating machinery.
• Loading and Handling: Load and unload parts onto fixtures and handle products with care throughout the process.
