Job Description & Purpose  

To take the lead in identifying new market trends and sectors to acquire new business from developing new client relationships. Responsible for servicing and prospecting to a mixture of high and low value new business in the region of clients using 1- 80 temps a day.

Up selling, and maximising client growth from cross selling amongst the client base, delivering results against a new business sales target and Divisional budgets; maximising margins and terms of supply, networking and referrals using all resources available. To be the lead point of contact and escalation point with full ownership of client relations. Full responsibility of the resourcing activity to align the needs of future sales and candidate availability, using all means possible. To oversee & supervise up to 3 other subordinates within the team

 

Responsibilities

  • Managing a small team of 3 consultants at varying levels of experience, to plan and set daily routine tasks for completion
  • To manage and oversee service delivery to existing clients with and through the team, managing up to 150 candidates over a 20 user client base or single handily run a desk of 80 temps across 15 clients.
  • To interview and select a workforce to meet the clients requirements.
  • To deliver excellent customer service to maximise profits and minimise risk of client dissatisfaction.
  • Keeping accurate records and working in accordance to Employment Legislation and best practice.
  • To grow the market share of business from selling the services of recruitment solutions to new and existing clients and maintain strong client relationships to maximise margins.
  • Meet and exceed the financial goals of the plan/division and generate £100k gross margin annually in new/lapsed business conversions.
  • To contribute to the performance of others as a mentor and leader to steer and guide work capability through upholding best practice and operating standards.
  • Understand and keep up to date with industry and competitive landscape knowledge.

Qualifications

  • 3 years recruitment experience
  • Strong sales and customer service background from within the recruitment sector specialism
  • Project planning and time management
  • Strong verbal, written, and organisational skills
  • Keeping accurate records and working in accordance to Employment Legislation and best practice.
  • Own transport and willing to travel and visit clients face to face
