A company in LE4 9 are looking for an expereinced TIG Welder & Fabricator!

Shift: Monday to Friday / 07:30 to 16:00 (Mon to Thurs)/ 07:30 to 13:00 (Fri)/ 30 min break – 37.5 Hours

TEMP TO PERM

MUST HAVE:

  • Over 2 years Experience in TIG Welding & Fabricating
  • Must have worked with Stainless Steel
  • Have mechnical Knowledge
  • Have worked with Food production machinery or have knowledge with the industry
  • Problem solving skill
  • Attention to detail
  • Team Player.

TIG Welder

BE Recruitment are working with a leading Automotive company, based in South Birmingham, and they are looking for a TIGWelder to join their existing team.

Day to day duties will include:

Mig production work

You will be working on parts for the automotive industry

Hours of work/Pay rate/Additional benefits:

Monday To Thursday 07:00 – 16:00

Friday 07:00 – 13:00

You will be paid 12.25 to £14 per hour depending on EXP

There is also plenty of overtime available

MUST have 12 months experience

You will also receive up to 28 days paid holiday, maternity pay, paternity pay, sick pay and a contributory pension after a qualifying period

Maintenance Technician

BE Recruitment are working with a Automotive company based in Tyseley. They are looking to recruit for a Maintenance Technician.

Shift pattern: Rotating (6am til 2pm/2pm til 10pm/10pm-6am)

Monday-Friday, with earlier finishes on a Friday!

Pay rate: £17.63-£19.95

Previous experience for the following required…

  • Electrical and mechanical experience
  • Assembly machines
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic skills
  • PLC fault finding
  • Robotic machines

Duties include…

  • Re-program robots and all input and outputs when necessary to insure quality and quantity.
  • Attend all equipment breakdowns and resolve or escalate problems where applicable.
  • Develop and maintain breakdown records on all process equipment.
  • Develop and maintain equipment TPM on all processes.
  • Modify equipment programs
  • Look at ways to reduce costs through continuous improvements.
  • Assist with project commissioning.
  • Assist with pre-production trials.

  • Ensure safety checks on all machinery are conducted and records maintained
  • Respond to machine breakdowns to minimise downtime
  • Install and commission new and current equipment where required
  • Managing and developing an apprentice
  • Fault find electrical/mechanical issues and rectify the root causes

Skills and experience:

  • Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings is essential
  • Ability to fault find on electrical and mechanical machinery is essential
  • A full UK drivers licence is essential
  • You must be IT literate in Microsoft applications
  • An apprenticeship in either electrical or mechanical discipline is desirable

Hours of work/Pay rate:

  • You will be working 07.00-15.30 Monday to Friday
  • £35,000 – £40,000 per annum dependant on experience

Fire Alarm Engineer

  • Routine and annual servicing of systems.
  • Responding to emergency breakdowns.
  • Participation of the CDS engineer callout Rota as directed by the Service Manager
  • Liaising with Customers and Staff (Internally and externally).
  • General Administrative Duties.
  • Communication professionally and confidently through written and oral communication.
  • Proficient use of IT to record and update Company records
  • Interpret data ensuring attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ensure that workload is planned and prioritised in accordance with Company business needs.
  • Present a smart and professional appearance to customers and suppliers at all times.
  • Deliver flexibility in terms of working hours to meet the demands of the business.
  • Utilise knowledge of fire alarm and detection system, emergency lights, disable refuge systems and access control system.

Experience in a previous role :

Minimum 3 Years.

Competencies:

  • A good understanding of BS5839 Part 1 2017, Unit 1 – Fire Detection Design.
  • A good understanding of BS5266 Part 1 2011 – Emergency Lighting Design.
  • Attitude to Work – Have an excellent attitude and work ethic being highly motivated and able to work effectively alone.
  • Communication Skills – The ability to communicate with people at all levels, providing clarity and gaining trust
