Job Title: Sales Executive – B2B Events
Location: Potters Bar, Herts
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Days Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
Pay Rate: £28k to £35k basic doe +bonus

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established Events company on a permanent basis.

My client facilitates ‘Meet The Buyer’ events. This means they host many events per years and invite Buyers from different industries such as Healthcare, Hospitality and Logistics. These events are facilitated and hosted by our client and the Buyers will be looked after by them also. Your job as a Sales Exec is to use your skill/wisdom to research what business may be interested in proposing their services to such Buyers. You will research the market, use Google/Linked-In and more, build pipelines and sell to these companies, informing them they have a chance to pitch to the main Buyer for ‘X’ industry.

This is a Senior Sales role and you will have experience pitching and negotiating with B2B companies at all levels.

The Role:

  • Telesales B2B role
  • Identify and approach companies that may be interested in meeting Buyers in their industry
  • Pitch services
  • Negotiate packages
  • Account manage
  • Develop old AND new business
  • Full 360 sales process

The Candidate:

  • Experience in a Senior Sales/Telesales role
  • Can work on own initiative
  • Confident pitching ideas and negotiating rates
  • Can manage and build pipelines
  • Good customer service skills
  • Someone who appreciates the importance of repeat business

Our client is a leading and very busy meet the buyer event organiser and we have been established for 21 years. The events are highly focused business events within the hospitality, hotel, healthcare, interior design, and logistics sectors. They run events at luxurious hotels in The UK and in Eu. The events run over 2 days and 4-day durations and will include very senior level delegates and range in size from 130 to 250 delegates.

The event formats are ‘Meet The Buyer’ events. These events are facilitated and hosted by our client and the Buyers will be looked after by them also. Your job as a Sales Exec is to use your skill/wisdom to research what business may be interested in proposing their services to such Buyers. You will research the market, use Google/Linked-In and more, build pipelines and sell to these companies, informing them they have a chance to pitch to the main Buyer for ‘X’ industry.

This is a Senior Sales role and you will have experience pitching and negotiating with B2B companies at all levels.
