VNA and Counterbalance Driver

BE Recruitment Ltd are working in partnership with a leading manufacturing client, based in Tyseley, Birmingham. And they are recruiting for 5x VNA /Counterbalance drivers to join their existing team.

We have immediate starts available with hourly rates paying upto £15.13 per hour!

These are long term roles with a genuine opportunity to go permanent after a successful trial period!

The right candidate must hold a valid VNA/ Counterbalance licence.

Benefits of the VNA/ Counterbalance role:

Duties as a VNA/ Counterbalance Driver will include:

  • Working within Logistics ( goods in/out)
  • Driving a VNA/ counterbalance (Valid Licence Required)
  • Checking quality of vehicle parts
  • Helping when & where required within the Factory
  • This role will consist of 70% VNA and 30% Counterbalance work

Hours of work for the VNA/Counterbalance Driver role:

The working hours for a fixed shift is as followed…

10pm til 6am Monday-Thursday

5:30pm til 10:30pm Friday

Optional overtime available.

Pay rates for VNA/ Counterbalance Driver role:

£13.16 plus a daily shift allowance of £15.80

Paint Polisher – Day to day duties will include:

Polishing and inspection of automotive parts

Loading, prepping and cleaning the jigs

Hours of work/Pay rate/Additional benefits:

You will be paid 13.25 per hour for working 06.00 to 14.00 Monday to Friday and 19.88 after 40 hours

You will be paid 13.75 per hour for working 14.00 to 22.00 Monday to Friday and 20.63 after 40 hours

You will be paid £15.50 per hour for working 22.00 to 06.00 Sunday to Thursday and 23.25 after 40 hours

The shifts are permanent and do not rotate

You will also receive up to 28 days paid holiday, maternity pay, paternity pay, sick pay and a contributory pension after a qualifying period

BE Recruitment are working with a leading automotive manufacturing company, based in central Tyseley Birmingham, and they have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Power Press Setter to join their existing team.

Day to day duties for the Power Press Setter will include:

Setting power press up to 1000 Tonne

You must have an understanding on automotive press operations, including but not limited to programming and process improvements.

Previous experience in Press Setting is required.

Hours of work/Pay rate/Additional benefits for Power Press Setter:

You will be working 22:00-06:00 Monday to Thursday and 17:00-22:30 on a Friday

You will be paid between £16-£17 an hour, depending on your experience plus a daily shift allowance of £15.80.
