HR Administrator Required!

BE Recruitment are currently working with an automotive company in CV6 area, who are looking for a HR administrator. (The role is based in Coventry, but will require 1/2 days a week in Kettering).

Flexible hours available.

Day to day may include:

  • Admin – HR documentation (Offer Letters, Contracts, Leavers etc…)
  • Assist with any HR related queries
  • Payroll Admin
  • Manage database and utilise system enhancements
  • Managing absence & systems.

Working shifts and pay:

  • Monday – Friday
  • Flexible on hours between 07:00 – 17:00
  • £30,000 – £33,000 (Dependant on experience)

Requirements & Experience:

  • Must have a valid licence, and own car. (Work will be split between Coventry & Kettering).
  • CIPD Level 3 or equivalent qualification – Desirable
  • O level or GCSE in English and Mathematics – Essential
    • Strong administration skills – Essential
    • IT literate in MS applications including Word, Excel and Powerpoint – Essential
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills – Essential
    • Ability to work on own initiative and without supervision – Essential
    • Able to work accurately, with attention to detail – Essential
    • Ability to communicate with people at all levels, confidently and appropriately – Essential
    • 3 years experience in an HR role ideally in a medium-size manufacturing environment – Essential
    • Experience of dealing with disciplinarians and grievances – Essential
    • Good understanding of Employment Law – Essential

Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer Needed!

BE Recruitment are working with a leading automotive company, based in Coventry, and they are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their existing team. This is a permanent role from day 1 and is not agency work.

Day to day duties will include:

  • Conducting regular preventative activities as scheduled by the maintenance system
  • Ensure safety checks on all machinery are conducted and records maintained
  • Respond to machine breakdowns to minimise downtime
  • Install and commission new and current equipment where required
  • Managing and developing an apprentice
  • Fault find electrical/mechanical issues and rectify the root causes

Skills and experience:

  • Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings is essential
  • Ability to fault find on electrical and mechanical machinery is essential
  • A full UK drivers licence is essential
  • You must be IT literate in Microsoft applications
  • An apprenticeship in either electrical or mechanical discipline is desirable

Hours of work/Pay rate:

  • You will be working 07.00-15.30 Monday to Friday
  • £35,500 – £37,000 per annum dependant on experience
  • This is a full time role from day 1 and is not agency work

Continuous Improvement Engineer

BE Recruitment are currently working with a leading automotive company in CV6 area, who are looking for an experienced Continuous Improvement Engineer to join their team. This is a permanent role from day 1 and is not agency work.(The role is based in Coventry, but will require to support their Kettering site as well).

Day to day may include:

  • Be in charge of Continuous Improvement activities for the Plant, identify, plan and implement
  • Be in charge of processes & work flows
  • First point of contact for Plant stakeholders for process improvements
  • Capacity Analysis & time trials for improvements
  • Ensure all improvements comply with relevant regulations & standards
  • Liaise and lead suppliers & customers
  • Liaison with the manufacturing engineering team, coaching apprentices and graduates.

Working shifts and pay:

  • Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm
  • Friday 8am – 2pm
  • £42k + (Dependant on experience)

Requirements & Experience:

  • A proven track record of delivering results against projects and improvement programmes in manufacturing environments
  • Experience in the application of continuous improvement tools
  • Understanding of lean methodology
  • Six Sigma is desirable (green Belt)
  • Ability to communicate at all levels; influencing and presentation skills
  • Excellent understanding of manufacturing processes and techniques
