Van Driving

We are currently looking to recruit 10 reliable van drivers for our food distribution client, based in the Tamworth area (Dordon).

This is a multi-drop position and your start time will be around 18:00

Duties Include:

  • Delivering goods to retail stores throughout the region.

You will be paid:

  • Nights – £10.50 + £0.75 per hour
  • Overtime – £13.15 per hour after 42 hours per week.

Stock Controller

BE Recruitment are working with a National Distribution Company, based in Tamworth, and they have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Stock Controller to join their existing team. This is a permanent role from day 1 and is not agency work.

Day to day duties will include:

Receiving, checking and counting all incoming stock against delivery notes

Ensuring stock rotation is completed effectively

Completing daily stock records

Handling and storing goods

Hours of work/rate of pay:

You will be working 10am to 6pm, but flexibility will be required in this role

You will be working 5 over 7 days

You will be paid between 25,000 and 27,000 per annum, depending on experience

Role requirements:

Previous experience of managing stock is essential

Main Responsibilities:

  • To support the growth of the business development focus, with effective resourcing activity resourcing candidates to meet the client’s criteria, through advertising, recruiting, and placing candidates into job roles.
  • To use social media to advertise vacancies, to search for candidates using job boards, the database and networking candidates to attract, retain and build strong working relationships. Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar B2B and B2C sales-type Role
  • Strong customer service background
  • Great project planning and time management

Order Picker

We have an exciting opportunity for Warehouse Order Pickers to join our team, based in Tamworth. You will be part of a warehouse team putting orders together for next day delivery to customers. Day to day duties will include:

Picking customer orders in the warehouse.

Ensuring all orders are picked accurately

You will also receive a 250.00 retention bonus after 6 weeks continuous service

Our client based in Dordon, near Tamworth require on-going Category C (HGV Class 2) drivers for on-going work. Duties involve deliveries to service centres for well known branded car manufacturer. Between 4 to 6 deliveries per shift. Before commencing contract each driver will under-go an induction and training to assist with their duties. Modern and well maintained vehicles on site. Excellent facilities and easily accessible location. Possible full time opportunities.

Pay Rates

  • £16.00 PH (paye) including holiday nights

Order Picker (chilled)

BE Recruitment are working with a food distribution company, you will be required to order pick products for delivery to stores and these roles may become permanent after a successful trial period

Duties will include:
* Order picking in a chilled environment
* General house keeping
* palletising

Hours of work:
* You will have the choice of working either full time hours, on a 5 out of 7 rota /Sunday to Thursday/ Monday to friday
You will have the choice of working either:
* 09.00 to 18.00, 14.00 to 22.00, 18.00 to 02.00 or 22.00 to 06.00
* On week days you will be paid £10.03 per hour rising to £11.58 per hour after 22.00. -higher rates over the weekend
* Overtime is paid after 42 hours are worked rate is 1.25X

A £250 bonus is also paid after your 6th week of service and so long as you have achieved the sites average pick rate.
