BE Recruitment are working with a food production company based in Tamworth and are looking to recruit Factory Cook Room Operatives.

Please note this role requires working in a food production environment and dealing with meat (PORK)

Duties will include:

• Working with cooking machines (industrial fryers)
• Working in a very hot & noisy environment
• Working with Raw Pork & Cooked Pork Products
• Heavy lifting involved
• Required to work to very high food standards to stop cross contamination
• Fast Paced Environment
• Working to daily production targets
• Repetitive work
• Using a thermometer to check temperature of cooking oils hourly
• Must be able to work well in a team and on own
• Ability to work very well under your own initiative
• Must comply with ALL site H&S rules

Days/Hours & Pay Rate:

• Monday to Friday Rotating Shifts.
• 6:00am – 2:30pm & 2:00pm – 10:30pm Rotating Weekly.
• £12.50 per hour upto £18.75 with overtime. Paid 40 hours per week.

Ideal candidate:

• Used to working in a similar role before and experience using large industrial fryers
• Physically fit
• Can lift items upto 25kgs

• Working in a chilled environment
• Working with Raw Pork Products
• Heavy lifting involved (25kgs)
• Required to work to very high food standards to stop cross contamination
• Fast Paced Environment
• Working to daily production targets
• Repetitive work
• Must be able to work well in a team and on own
• Ability to work very well under your own initiative
• Must comply with ALL site H&S rules

Days/Hours & Pay Rate:

• Monday – Friday (Static Hours)
• 6:00am – 2:30pm OR 2:00pm – 10:30pm
• £12.50 per hour upto £18.75 with overtime. Paid 40 hours per week.

Ideal candidate:

• Used to working in a similar role before and experience in using large Dicing machines
• Physically fit
• Can lift items upto 25kgs

Duties will include:

• Working as a hygiene & industrial cleaning specialist to clean all areas of the production facility
• Using chemicals to deep clean floors, walls and other surfaces
• Deep cleaning production machinery
• Working to highest cleaning H&S/Food standards
• Industrial Cleaning experience is required
• Working in a hot & noisy environment

Ideal candidate will have:

• Food Hygiene Qualification (NOT Essential as will be fully trained)
• Previous Cleaning Experience
• A Passion for working in a cleaning role
• No problems working in a food production environment that handles PORK products
• Self Motivated

Days/Hours of work & Pay Rates:

• Monday to Saturday (Working any 5 days out of 6 days)
• 6:00am – 2:30pm £10.50 per hour
• 1:30pm – 10:00pm £11 per hour
• These are static shifts paid 40 hours per week
