Warehouse Operative

BE Recruitment are working with industrial company based in Tamworth area. The position we are recruiting for is x3 warehouse operatives to join an expanding company with great future opportunities in the business.
The company is looking for candidates with good attendance and performance at work.

Duties will include:

  • Picking and packing
  • Scanning labels
  • Making sure items are matching the location
  • Printing paperwork for orders
  • Goods in/ goods out
  • Palletising and shrink wrapping
  • General warehouse duties

Hours of work and pay:

  • 8am – 7pm, Monday – Friday (40h per week) rotating week to 7 pm – 6 am (Nights)
  • £9.50 per hour on Days – £10.06 per hours on Nights
  • weekly pay

Please note that if you can not do both Days and Nights rotating then this role is not suitable for you and our client.

Safety boots and Hi-Viz will be required. Fully training provided.

Machine Operator

BE Recruitment are currently looking for Machine Operatives to start ASAP for our prestigious client based in Birmingham (B11)

Overview and Objectives of the Position:

To accurately and efficiently operate the cutting machines to ensure all material is accurately cut to specification for external customers.

Key Relationships:

Internal: Orders, Samples, Warehouse and Management, Senior Management Team

Key Accountability’s:

Accurately cut tiles to specification

  • Stack sufficiently to ensure minimum breakages
  • Complete acceptable standard of cutting and ensure minimal waste is produced
  • Safely, efficiently and accurately operate the cutting equipment
  • Maintenance of machines weekly
  • Ensure the specific Health and Safety standards are maintained
  • Carry out further tasks as may from time to time be delegated to you by your Manager

Order Picker

BE Recruitment are working with a National Distribution Centre, based in Tamworth, and they are looking to add 20 Order Pickers to their existing team.

These assignments offer a permanent role after a 4 week successful trial period.

Day to day duties will include:

Order picking goods

Checking orders

General warehouse duties

Hours of work/Pay rate/Additional benefits:

You will have the choice of working either 09.00 to 18.00, 14.00 to 22.00 or 18.00 to 02.30

You will be working 5 days out of 7

You will be paid between 10.03 per hour and 16.29 per hour as a starting rate, dependant on the days/hours you work

You will be paid between 10.03 per hour and 20.63 per hour after successful completion of your 4 week trial

There is also plenty of overtime available

You will also receive up to 28 days paid holiday, maternity pay, paternity pay, sick pay and a contributory pension after a qualifying period

FLT Reach Truck Driver

BE Recruitment are working with a National Distribution Company, based on Gorsey Lane Ind Est, Coleshill. They are looking for FLT Reach Truck Drivers, to join their existing team.

Day to day duties will include:

Loading and unloading lorries

Putting Away & Replenishing stock using a FLT Reach Truck & also using an RF Scanner

General warehouse/production duties when required. This role doesn’t consist of 100% truck driving duties and full flexibility of completing other tasks will be requested to be done as part of the role

Hours of work/Rate of pay/Additional benefits:

You will have the choice of working either 05.00 to 13.00, 10.00 to 18.00, 13.00 to 21.00 Monday to Friday or 21.00 to 05.00 Sunday to Thursday

You will be paid £10.50 per hour on days, £11.00 on afternoons and £11.50 on nights

You will also receive a £500 bonus on completion of 12 weeks service

There is also the chance of overtime available.

You will also receive up to 28 days paid holiday, pro rata, sick pay, maternity pay, paternity pay and a contributory pension, after a qualifying period

These assignments also offer a permanent role after a successful trial period and offer an immediate start

Working hours and pay

Daily Tasks & Responsibilities

The environment is a 16m high, 7 level, 3000 pallet, modern warehousing space. The fleet consists of Toyota reach forklifts for put away/replenishment & counterbalance trucks for goods in/out.

  • Put away: 75 per shift along with Space management
  • Replenishment: Stock rotation, Min/Max shelf targets
  • Picking: Just In Time full pallet picking in conjunction with Fulfilment

  • Ad Hoc administration duties

The Person:

  • Works well under tight deadlines with a keen eye for detail and a right first-time approach
  • Energetic, resilient, and flexible
  • Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work shift work, including weekend working will be required
