Food Production Line Packer

BE Recruitment are working with a food production company based in Tamworth and are looking to recruit x3 packing/ production operatives.

Please note this role requires working in a food production environment and dealing with meat (PORK)

Duties will include:

  • Working on a production line packing food product
  • Fast Paced Environment
  • Working to daily targets (will be expected to be at full packing rate after 3 weeks assessment)

Taxi Driver

BE Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known taxi company in the Tamworth area.
We are looking Taxi Drivers to work on a long term self-employed based. Also would be Ideal for Drivers from the Following postcode areas -B37,B46,B76, B78,Cv9 ,WS13 ,B43, WS11,DE13 you would have to apply for licence Through The Tamworth Borough Council .

Duties will include the safe collection and drop off of members of the public around the Tamworth and surrounding areas this can include airport runs, drops into city centre locations on nights out, taking elderly members of the public to the shops and various other runs.

This role is not standard hours or days and will require drivers to have flex-ability and be able to work some evenings and weekends. Drivers can generally earn £300-£1500 per week dependent upon the hours and days they choose to work. This is very much a get out what you put in kind of role.

Our client is offering a generous contribution towards obtaining the hackney carriage license (50% of the cost, which is £145 this will be deducted from you after 1st week of work), full guidance and support. The process for obtaining a license is a follows:

  • Standard medical including eye test
  • a DBS check
  • application via our client upon successful interview
  • Candidate must be over 21
  • had a driving licence for more than 3 years
  • no more than 6 points on the driving licence
  • must use your own car
  • Options To Rent Vehicle
  • Knowledge test of Tamworth

Weekly fee for the taxi app £96 phone supplied .

Daily Tasks & Responsibilities

The environment is a 16m high, 7 level, 3000 pallet, modern warehousing space. The fleet consists of Toyota reach forklifts for put away/replenishment & counterbalance trucks for goods in/out.

  • Put away: 75 per shift along with Space management
  • Replenishment: Stock rotation, Min/Max shelf targets
  • Picking: Just In Time full pallet picking in conjunction with Fulfilment

For those that take the core tasks in their stride, there is ample opportunity to step-up & become a core part of the Warehouse Management team, who look at Demand Planning, Bulk Management & SKU Rationalisations from an Operation Perspective.
