Pay: £14-15 per hour (Dependent on Experience)

Hours: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Overtime: Available on Saturdays at Flat Rate

Breaks:

• 15 Minute Morning Break
• 30 Minute Lunch (Unpaid)

In this role, you will be responsible for operating punch & laser cutting machinery and other laser-based equipment to produce components and products to specification in a fast-paced setting.

Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Trumpf punch & laser cutting machines
• Set up and operate Bystronic laser cutting machines
• Monitor punch & laser machines during operation
• Maintain and troubleshoot punch & laser equipment
• Monitor the quality of parts produced
• Keep records of production and operation of the machines

Requirements:

• Ability to read technical drawings & set up sheets
• Experience setting up and operating punch & laser cutting machines
• Proficiency in checking and measuring the accuracy of components
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines

Skills:

• Proficiency in operating and maintaining punch & laser cutting machinery

• Fully understand and be proficient in at least two complete coating/mixing processes.
• Assist in setting and consistently achieving individual and team production output targets.

• Complete all required departmental data recording on time and train others to do so.
