BE Recruitment are working with a nursery distribution company in Leicestershire and are recruiting Landscape/Gardening Operatives.

We have opportunities in 3 different sites which you can register your interest for:

  • Gaddesby (Not accessible by public transport)
  • Syston (Accessible by public transport)
  • Thurnby (Accessible by public transport)

Transport: We will putting on transport during the peak season for this role, so we will be able to provide you with transport, if you do not have your own.

Please note this role requires working outside in all weather conditions

General Duties:

  • Picking shrubs
  • Potting Plants
  • Digging out plants
  • Landscaping

Details:

  • 7:30am to 16:30pm (Finish 15:30 Fridays)
  • Working Monday to Friday
  • Pay £9.50 per hour (This will be increasing to £10.42 in April)

There are three different roles available:

Tree department:

  • Driving licence essential
  • Will be expected to lift trees from a field and/or tree beds.
  • Pruning trees
  • Caning trees
  • Tying up trees
  • General husbandry
  • Always working outdoors
  • All training will be given

Container department:

  • Driving licence preferable but not essential
  • Involves lifting and bending
  • Weeding
  • Pruning plants
  • Caning and tying plants
  • Watering
  • General husbandry
  • Machine potting
  • Standing down plants
  • Driving Kubota’s
  • All training will be given

Propagation department:

  • Driving licence preferable but not essential
  • Making and collecting cuttings
  • Involves lifting and bending
  • Weeding

  • Caning and tying plants

  • Driving Kubota’s

Milling Machine Operative

BE Recruitment are recruiting a Milling operator for an engineering client, located in LE1.

Parts for agricultural / automotive.

Preferred Experience:

  • Fanuc Operating Machines / System
  • BridgePort Machines / System
  • Setting Machines

Must have experience using Micrometers, verniers and height gauges, reading engineering drawings. (You will be tested prior to starting the role).

Monday-Friday

Rotational shift – 06:00-14:00 | 14:00-22:00 (Must be able to work both shifts).

BE Recruitment are looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join their team in the Leicester Office.

Responsibilities

  • Sales, Service and Interviewing.
  • Keeping accurate records and working in accordance to Employment Legislation and best practice
  • To be able to produce and delivery KPIs to customers
  • To resource, advertise, screen to a pre select criteria as agreed with the customer, interview and place candidates into vacancies.
  • Proactive customer service
  • To make sure Monday check-ins are carried out by on the phone by yourself or your team within 15 minutes of all clients start times
  • To ensure every client is spoken to on Friday follow up calls and check temporary worker is checked by name
  • To ensure timely 1st day checks are made with every worker to make sure they will be returning for their next shift
  • To competently learn and demonstrate BE systems – TempID, Broadbean and Citation.

Salary

  • £22,000 to £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Working hours

  • Monday to Friday 0800 – 1700.
  • On call service (out of hours).

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service background
  • Project planning and time management
  • Strong verbal, written, and organisational skills
  • Own transport and willing to travel and visit clients face to face

Job Description & Purpose

To support the growth of the business development focus, with effective resourcing activity resourcing candidates to meet the client’s criteria, through advertising, recruiting and placing candidates into job roles. To use social media to advertise vacancies, to search for candidates using job boards, the database and networking candidates to attract, retain and build strong working relationships. This will include planning, coordinating, and implementing recruitment projects within budget, time line, and scope. Responsibilities
