FLT General Operative

BE Recruitment Ltd are working in partnership with a leading engineering client, based in Nottinghamshire, and they are recruiting for 2x FLT drivers to join their existing team.

We have immediate starts available with hourly rates paying upto £11.44 per hour!

These are long term roles with a genuine opportunity to go permanent after a successful trial period!

The right candidate must hold a valid Forklift Counterbalance licence.

Benefits of the Forklift Counterbalance role:

Duties as a FLT Driver / General operative will include:

· Cut, mark and drill steel for welding/fabrication

· Assemble steel products

· Cut all timber battens, furrings, ply, chipboard and melamine etc for each job

· Notch battens out, using a router

· Produce ferrite tiles boards

· Palletise, wrap and clearly label the product when each job is completed

· Paint items made in the workshop, and wrap items when dry

· Assist with elements of fabrication when required

· Ensure drawings are signed off when each job is completed

· Be the main forklift driver for the warehouse.

· Crane operator – Desirable

· CSCS card holder – Desirable

· Place completed products in correct bay, ready for dispatch

· Assist in the loading/offloading lorries

· Sweep and tidy the warehouse / workshop and maintain the work area and tools to a high standard, with particular attention to Health and Safety requirements

· Be responsible for the return of tools/equipment when no longer needed

· Be responsible for, and comply with ISO9001 2015 standards at all times

· Work on on-site installations as and when required

· Work in team-focused spirit, helping to solve any issues together as a team

· Engage with a continual PDP (Personal Development Plan) with defined goals, as agreed with the Quality specialist

Hours of work for the FLT / General Operative

08:00 to 16:30 Monday to Thursday, 30 min break
08:00 to 15:30 Friday

Pay rates for FLT / General Operative role:

£10.42 – 11.44 per hour dependant on experience

Job Role – Main responsibilities for Marketing Co-ordinator

  • Plan, develop and implement content across key digital marketing channels including social media, e-mail, printed marketing materials, company website.
  • Good understanding and experience of LinkedIn as well as all other social media channels.
  • Use and be proficient with analytic tools to continually measure and report on effectiveness of digital marketing channels to improve performance predominately through Google Analytics and AdWords.
  • Be able to Manage large and multiple google ad campaigns.
  • Be entirely responsible for the website (all aspects) Marketing performancebrandcompany image and led generation
  • Maintain, update, and develop website and content.
  • Plan and co-ordinate the business presence at events, exhibition, and online conferences and on occasion attend such events.
  • Create and maintain a library of corporate and product images for use across all promotional channels.
  • Ensure all Global documents and materials used are on brand and uniform across all channels.
  • Write and publish news feed articles including case studies, company, and industry news.

Design Engineer

BE Recruitment Ltd are working in partnership with a leading engineering client, based in Nottinghamshire, and they are recruiting for a Design Engineer to join their existing team.

This is an incredible opportunity to join an industry leading company and grow within the company.

The role of the design engineer will include

  • Aid in the design process for each contract and ensure each design is within the legal framework defined by each contract taking account of the geographical, political, legal, and cultural differences of each country.
  • Assist the Commercial and Projects team, provide support in proposal production and produce sales drawings and other information or renders as required, sign off all key documentation to ensure each contract is in line with customer requirements and specifications
  • Create detailed design and manufacturing drawings for components, assemblies and large structures
  • When appropriate liaise directly with the customer concerning design parameters to ensure an accurate design specification. This may require site visits
  • In conjunction with the Head of Design, Commercial and Project management team, ensure each contract meets customers’ requirements and specification.
  • Participate in internal team and other departmental meetings to ensure that design work is communicated and passed to manufacturing correctly and accurately.
  • Assist in the methodology for each project, and liaise where appropriate with the sub-contractors to ensure the correct design and implementation of each project is agreed and understood by all parties.
  • QA check the engineering output against the design drawings before shipment.
  • Create 3D models in Solidworks of all of our standard component parts and assemblies and associated drawings.
  • Maintain and support a drawing register and be able to transfer information from detailed design drawings into a bill of materials.
  • Assist in the research and development strategy for the company and partake in hands on product development as may be requested.
  • Provide support for the Head of Design and Projects team, ensuring that they have adequate design support for each project.
  • Liaise with Purchasing to ensure the technical specifications are fully compliant and agreed for each contract.
  • Assist Projects on site visits to ensure projects are built to design, and identify and potential unforeseen required changes to design.
  • Be responsible for and comply with the ISO9001 2015 standards at all times.
  • Engage with a continual PDP [Personal Develop Plan] with defined goals

  • Plan and organise the effective use of resources to ensure targets are fully met
  • Review process designs, identifying areas for improvement and suggest appropriate courses of action
  • Communicate regularly with your line management regarding performance in all areas of the team
  • Ensure internal and external customer satisfaction through regular feedback, ensuring necessary corrective action is taken as and when appropriate
  • Promote and demonstrate a continuous improvement culture
